Everything had to originally been created. If you believe that everything just appeared and formed itself on its own, then you're only fooling yourself
It's common sense that everything has a beginning and an end. Scientists as well as the Bible are in agreement. But where the two differ occurs well before any big-bang took place or the first day of all creation. Where did the singularity come from, and where did the Lord come from?
While scientists are trumped, the Bible explains that the Lord came from God whom has existed from eternity to eternity. I'm here to tell you that the Lord is the beginning and the end to come.
You cannot hide the fact that since the fall of mankind there has been emptiness deep inside each and every human civilization. That emptiness in the lives of humanity is God. Look at history and you will see who the people are that have worshiped the true living God (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) or denied him altogether replaced with multiple false gods such as themselves, living creatures, or idols (Egyptian/Aztec/pagan).
How is this so? There is an explanation in it all; we as mankind strive to make our lives last longer than the previous generation. Not only that, but what may seem hidden is actually revealed deep within ourselves; the need to exist with God. Immortality and seeking God have been a couple of the many reasons people come to believe in the divine. Not only that, but it has been said that God has planted eternity in our own hearts. Considering there is a God, he would have existed far before and will continue to exist far beyond any amount of time we can possibly fathom (eternity).
Let the truth be revealed; no matter where you go or what you do in this life, you cannot escape the truth. Our inescapable truth is that we were born and will die in this world, and you cannot escape or stop what happens next. Call it your eternal grave, judgment, heaven or hell. Mark my words though, it will come to pass!
My question is simply this, are you ready?
For every person that has ever walked this planet, he or she is appointed to die once and then judgment believe it or not. From your time spent from birth to death, that's all you are allotted here in this world. Not only will you be held accountable by your actions, works, or deeds, but also for every idle word said.
I'm here to tell you that we are all guilty. Humanity is about as pure as a chunk of black coal. In the Bible it states that our very heart, our deepest most innermost self is desperately wicked. From the moment we are formed in the womb, we are impure at heart.
The only way for us to attain righteousness and live a true life is to look at the one who is; God.
I'm here to tell you that God not only cares about you, but he proved his love by sending his Son as an example for how you aught to live and by paying your penalty of death on the cross. Jesus put his life on the line for each and every person for all time. You see, by our sins we deserve eternal death. If you have ever broken one of the Ten Commandments, then you are guilty of them all. But not to fear because the Bible also states that there is nothing greater than sacrificing your own life for a friend. And that is exactly what the Lord did for you on the cross. He not only wants to be your friend, but to save what was once lost; which would be you! Christ who is also described as the spotless Lamb of God died as an innocent man who was without Sin so that you might live with him in eternity. You see, only God's Son could rightfully die in your place!
And it's by humbling yourself to the truth of God's Son that we put our faith in him. Who better to trust other than the one whose knowledge has no limits; God?
When you accept Christ as your ultimate example and apply his life to yourself and those around you, he is truly Lord of your life. And not only will you live a meaningful life by putting your trust in God's Son, but you will be living his Father's will which is to stand before him without blemish on judgment day and to be with him for all of eternity. God will take all of your sins and make them white as snow by forgiving and forgetting them while setting you aside as his own. For it is only God who will be able to save you during the last hour.
